As per the direction of the Govt. of Assam, The Deori Sahitya Sabha celebrated the Janajatiya Gaurav Divash jointly with the Deori Autonomous Council (DAC), in association with the Lakhimpur District DCC and Kasikota Branch DCC at Kasikota Youth club, district Lakhimpur along with the Centenary celebration of Birsa Munda. The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretrary, DCC along with the Central Executive members of DCC, and the representatives from DAC, members from Lakhimpur District DCC and Kasikota Branch DCC and the public of Kasikota Deori Gaon which was chaired by Shiba Kumar Deori Vice President, DCC. The meeting started with an Aarao (Deori Prayer ) and ended by reciting the state anthem in Deori.
