The vision of Deori Sahitya Sabha

The vision of Deori Sahitya Sabha (DCC- Deori Chucheba Chencha) is to preserve, promote and enrich the literature, language, and culture of Deori Community. The main objectives are-

1. To preserve Deori language – DCC is focusing on the preservation, development, and promotion of the deori language. It involves initiatives to encourage Deori language literacy, create dictionaries, and support language education.

2. To develop and promote literature- Developing and promoting literature through the encouragement of writers, poets, and literary enthusiasts by organizing literary events, competitions, and publishing works in the deori language.

3. To preserve and promote of cultural heritage -Working towards the preservation and promotion of Deori cultural heritage, including traditional art forms, music, dance, rituals, and other cultural practices.

4. To develop the community and fostering a sense of unity among deori people- Engaging in activities that contribute to the overall development and well-being of the Deori community, such as educational initiatives, social welfare programs, and community-building efforts. DCC is also fostering a sense of unity and identity among the Deori people, providing a platform for cultural exchange, and celebrating the unique identity of the community.
