Deori Chucheba Chengcha (DCC), as per the schedule prepared by the Central DCC committee, celebrated the "Bhasha Gaurav Saptah" at Kakilamari Deori Gaon, District Sibsagar, on 7th November 2024 along with an Echajuba chaired by Domboru Deori, President Sibsagar District DCC and attended by the members of the Sibsagar District DCC, members of Kakilamari Branch DCC and the local Public & dignitaries. The resolution for submitting a Thanks giving letter to the Prime Minister of India, Chief Minister of Assam, Education Minister of Assam and a demand for inclusion of Deori language in the 8th schedule of the Indian constitution were adopted unanimously.
